Tea Essences & Aromas

What is a Tea Essence?

Tea essence, sometimes called tea aroma or tea top note, is a natural distillate captured from the steam released during brewing or extraction. It contains the aromatic compounds responsible for the floral, fruity, green, or woody notes found in high-quality tea.

A Premium Experience

Traditional extraction can lose the top notes that make tea taste freshly brewed – but tea essence restores that character. It adds realism to ready-to-drink teas, complexity to powdered formats, and premium appeal to clean-label products.
